Critters

A selection of images portraying some of the smallest but most interesting animals in the ocean. This collection includes photographs of Invertebrates from the Phyla Porifera(sponges), Cnideria (jellies *), Annelida (worms), Arthropoda (crustaceans), mollusca and Echinodermata (starfish). I have also included some images of Chordata (tunicates), even though they are not invertibrates but are in fact part of the vertibrate group of animals.

* Only motile members of the Phyla Cnidaria (such as jelly fish medusa) are included in this collection. Sessile members of this Phyla, including hard and soft corals, get collections of there own, as they are are a particular interest of mine.
